The Artist's Journey: An Introduction to Our Newsletter
Hello artists! I'm experimenting with creating a newsletter for our community as well as trying out AI as an assistant. I'll be calling her Iris. I imagine she writes similar text for the other artist communities, but it isn't too bad, so I'll let her have her way every now and then. I totally agree with the following three paragraphs she created for this first newsletter.
The Birth of Creativity
Every artist's journey begins with a spark of creativity. This spark can come from anywhere - a beautiful sunset, a poignant moment, or even a simple object. The key is to keep your eyes and heart open to these sparks. What's your creative spark? Share it with us and inspire fellow readers!
The Art of Perseverance
Art is not just about talent, it's about perseverance. Every stroke of the brush, every line drawn, is a step towards mastering your craft. Remember, every great artist was once a beginner. How do you keep going when the going gets tough? We'd love to hear your stories of perseverance!
Sharing Your Art with the World
One of the most rewarding parts of the artist's journey is sharing your work with others. Whether it's through an exhibition, social media, or even a small gathering of friends, sharing your art can be a source of joy and inspiration. How do you share your art with the world? Let us know and help inspire others to do the same!
Well written, Iris. Thank you.
This will be a bi-weekly newsletter to update you on the new uploads available to you: lessons in online courses; videos; scheduled live events; challenges; etc. You can expect to receive the newsletter at some point on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday every two weeks. The current newsletter will also be posted on my website if you prefer to access the information there rather than receive it through email.
I'm starting with two basic listings, a list of what has been uploaded or archived during the previous week and a list of upcoming events as well as whatever else might be planned for the community.
Feedback is always welcome.
Thanks for being a member of our art community.
Keep the creative juices flowing,
Chris Carter
